TVXQ wins Music Bank K-Chart triple crown + other performances

Music Bank is back once again with a fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances!
Besides the usual stages, Jewelry made their comeback with their two new members in tow, while SeeYa began their goodbye promotions with Nam Gyuri rejoining them for one last hurrah.
SECRET faced off against TVXQ for this week’s K-Chart, and it was the latter who clinched the win and make it a K-Chart triple crown. Unfortunately for them, the duo were away in Japan for Music Station and couldn’t receive their trophy in person. Nevertheless, congratulations to TVXQ on their win!

TVXQ number 1 on Oricon charts

The duo of TVXQ have proven true to their name “The Rising Gods of the East” once again!
Many have been wondering whether or not TVXQ would be able to retain their popularity after the SM / JYJ controversy last year, but they have put those doubts to rest.

JYJ’s South American tour dates confirmed!

JYJ has announced that they’ll soon be performing in South America!
On January 4th, C-Jes Entertainment revealed, “JYJ’s South American tour has been confirmed. JYJ’s solo concert will be held on March 9th in Chile followed by March 11th in Peru.”
The March 9th concert will be held in Santiago, Chile at the Teatro Caupolican, while the March 11th show will be held in Lima, Peru at the Explanada Sur del Estadio Monumenta

TVXQ to go on vacation starting New Year’s Day

After leading a busy and fruitful year traveling to countries all over the world, TVXQ will be going on vacation starting January 1st.
On December 30th, SM Entertainment revealed that TVXQ was awarded with a few days’ break ahead of their Japanese arena tour, which begins mid-January.

TVXQ places 1st on a popularity poll

TVXQ secured 1st place on an unofficial popularity poll held online while the ’62nd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen’ was being broadcast on on December 31st.
Despite the fact that only fans within Japan were able to vote without the help of other international or Korean fans, TVXQ was able to set a record, obtaining 49.7% of the votes to secure 1st place.
